Amateur Kickboxing Debut
Women’s Strawweight Division | Friday, January 12, 2024 | ULH Event Center, Houston, TX
Wow! This was my amateur kickboxing debut (and first fight ever), and it was such a cool experience. I lost via split decision after an exciting three rounds that included a knockdown for each of us. This fight marks 18 months of training for me, and I still have so much room to learn and grow in this sport. Thank you so much to everyone who showed their support - I am so grateful for my coaches, team, family, and friends who helped me prepare for this fight, cheered me on in the arena, streamed the PPV, donated to BEAR, and believed in me!
Even more exciting news… we raised $500 for BEAR… BE A Resource!!! This money will go straight to helping abused and neglected children. It was an honor to support this incredible organization in their mission of providing hope and help to children and families in need.
I had so much fun with this fight, and I can’t wait to do it again! If you know of a non-profit organization / charity that does important work in our community, please reach out. I would love to support another great cause with my next fight.
